Whether you are an experienced yoga practitioner or a beginner you will bring from this retreat new knowledge and ideas for a healthier life.
Meranda, an experienced yoga teacher and spiritual guide, will lead you through yoga poses and breathing techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life.
You will learn about healthy vegetarian diet and the spring cleansing routine.
Natural environment at the edge of the ocean provides backdrop for walks, a hike on the East Coast Trail, stargazing, quiet meditation and evening bonfire.
Fee of $250 includes all retreat sessions and materials; two overnight stays and all meals.
Friday: arrive at Points East between 4 - 6 pm, settle in, share dinner and get acquainted in a short circle activity. Meranda will lead us into a guided meditation and discussion at 8pm.

After lunch stay on your own or attend the optional Problem Clearing Workshop with Meranda.
Program
- Yoga sessions for all skill levels. Beginners are welcome. Open the channels of your body through deep breathing, gentle stretching, strengthening postures, relaxation and meditation.
- Yoga Cleansing Diet Workshop. Learn the principles of living a vegetarian yogic diet; food classes, food combination rules, preventive medicine, juice fasting.
- Meditation and chanting. This evening circle activity transcends you to a space of divine bliss through chanting songs, drumming, playing instruments, meditation, and learning a universal dance.
- Spiritual hike. Experience the sound of roaring surf and breathtaking ocean views. While breaking for a snack we will sing songs, be guided into meditation and practice mindfulness.

Meranda Squires is a certified and experienced yoga teacher and spiritual guide. In 1983 she traveled to India and stayed for seventeen years to study in depth Meditation, Yoga, and Vedant philosophy.
Meranda is certified as a teacher of Advanced Studies in Yoga Sciences, Vedant Philosophy and the Theory and Practice of Meditation, a SomaYoga Instructor, a Thai-yoga bodywork practitioner, an Enlightenment Master, a Mind Clearer and Counselor.
In 2001 she founded the Lotus Center in St. Johns that offers yoga and meditation classes and provides an environment for personal growth and lifestyle practices.
